about
After ever so slightly over indulging in Alchohol and Chemical Abuse over the last 30 years i have come to the conclusion that at least 25% thats roughly 7.5 years of that time, has been spent in the Blackout Zone. Seems a lot but computes to 1.5 days a week and that sounds about right to me. Anyway! After being off the sauce'n'drugs for 1yr and 4 months the Blackout Zone room door has been unlocked in the back of my mind and a flood of seemingly unrelated memories have presented themselves to the Mind Administator asking to be re-zoned. Lots of weird stuff!! And now i have finished the lyrics for a new tune from memories from the Blackout Zone. Moral of the story - MEMORIES ARE NEVER LOST unless you've had serious head trauma. Peace to All.
lyrics
Chemical Salvation Em
V1
The Skin is falling off the bone
Dripping slowly to the floor
Would you like to join me?
It’s obscene.
V2
The shadow bleeds through the thorny limbs of time
Pitch black and beautiful to the core
And the eye said “ Would you like to join me”
It’s obscene.
V3
Falling into limitless desire
Emotional turmoil is not required
Could this be my reality
It’s obscene.
V4
Never fear the present, its real
Chemical salvation, how does it make you feel
Intelligent discretion is advised
Strictly over imaginative minds only with a tie
